An open gathering with prayer, singing, coffee and an inspiring talk — every Thursday from 10.00 to 11.30 in the church café.

Why we meet
Sunday • 10.30
The service on Sunday at 10.30 is the highlight of the week in our church community – a morning of worship, children’s church, personal stories and a sermon.
Our hosts will welcome you in the foyer, and there’s free coffee and tea before and after the service. You can also buy barista coffee and cakes in our café.
The Sunday service lasts just under an hour and a half and is interpreted into English. Children’s and junior church, split into age groups, runs during the service.

All week
We’re church every day of the week — from playgroup in the morning to groups for teenagers and young people in the evening. See the full weekly programme above.
Sunday morning
There’s a programme for children during the service. MINI is for children aged 2–5, MAXI for ages 6–10, and for ages 11–14 we have JUNIOR CHURCH. After a shared start, children’s church splits into the three groups.
On the first Sunday of the month, junior church takes an active part in the service. We call this SERVE. On the last Sunday we usually head out of the building to one of the town’s parks or a sports hall.
In children’s church there is singing and music, a Bible story with creative elements, and plenty of time to play, draw and relax together. We want a place where children get to know God, grow and make good friends.

Tuesday morning
Every Tuesday, children aged 0–6 and their grown-ups come together for playgroup from 9.00 to 12.00.
Tumle Bumle Land has room for play and learning, indoors and out. We bake, cut and stick, play, sing, get creative and use our senses. There’s coffee and tea for the grown-ups while the children eat their packed lunches.

It costs DKK 100 per child per year. The first two visits are free. After that, the child is enrolled in Ung MOSAIK Vejle.
Tuesday • 17.30–20.00
Somos is a teen club for everyone aged 11–15. If you’re 14–15, you can join Somos+.
The evening begins with dinner. After that we do things like laser tag, bake-offs, film nights and other activities. Somos is a safe community with room for conversations about life, faith and Christianity.

Wednesday • 18.00
Connect is the youth fellowship at Bykirken in Vejle, for young people aged 16–25+.
Join us every Wednesday for relaxed evenings that include a board game café, Bible teaching and a worship service. We also have special events such as go-karting, Djurs Sommerland, mission trips and film nights.

Thursday morning
Every Thursday we meet in an open gathering for prayer and reflection, from 10.00 to 11.30 in the church café.
We sing together, drink coffee or tea and listen to an inspiring talk from a guest speaker or teacher. We finish by praying together for each person, the church, the town and the world.
Everyone is welcome – and it costs nothing to take part.
Every other Sunday • 15.00
Vejle is home to many internationals, and this is reflected at Bykirken. All internationals are invited to join our International Service in English every other Sunday.
Coming dates: 18/10, 1/11, 15/11, 29/11 and 13/12.
Every Saturday Bykirken invites people from all nations into a welcoming international fellowship.
